Maiju Talvisto works as head of artist relations at Flow Festival in Helsinki, Finland. She has worked with the leading urban boutique festival since 2011, specialising in artist production and artist hospitality. She has been awarded ‘production manager of the year’ by Women in Live Music in 2019 and as the ‘producer of the year’ by Music x Media in 2022.

Maiju is a board member of YOUROPE – The European Festival Association, as well as one of the board members of LiveFIN, an umbrella organisation for live music operators in Finland.

She also works as one of the expert advisors in the Finnish National Council of Music. Maiju holds two masters’ degrees: one in musicology and the other in arts management. Her debut non-fiction book about music industry and artist hospitality Backstage – Artist producer’s handbook was published in October 2022 (in Finnish).
