Marcel Hunziker

Marcel is a London-based creative digital marketing professional and business owner specialising in digital strategy, paid social ads, direct-to-fan marketing, as well as digital audience and brand building in the music and entertainment industry.

Marcel and his company help managers, labels, and festivals in the music industry navigate the digital world, stand out from the crowd, and grow their audience through strategic digital direct-to-fan marketing.

Passionate about music and culture, Marcel originally started his career as a live music promoter, works in social media brand marketing now and independently consults companies in music and entertainment on the digital marketing and strategy via his agency Playliveartist Ltd.

In addition to working with the likes of Joss Stone, Fleur East, The Sherlocks, Ferris & Sylvester, Cute Bad (Xenomania/Brian Higgins), Julie Bergan (Warner Music), Max Cooper (The Wild Seeds), Liv Dawson and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah (Secretly Group), Marcel has previously been involved in music-related projects with Rimmel (#IWILLNOTBEDELETED), Revlon and Tommy Jeans’ spring 21 campaign.

He spoke about digital advertising at The Great Escape Festival music conference in 2019 (CMU+TGE: ‘music marketing – making sure people give a shit’), Line Check Festival Italy in 2018, as well as By:Larm Oslo in 2020.

He also passionately manages one artist and one producer.

Having worked as an independent consultant for almost five years, he founded his company Playliveartist Limited in November 2020.
