Patrik Meyer 

Since 2020, Patrik has been the MD of Eintracht Frankfurt Stadion GmbH – the new operator for the stadium in Frankfurt (Deutsche Bank Park – former Commerzbank-Arena).

Born in 1968, Patrik finished his training to become a qualified bank clerk in 1990. After working as a professional musician (drummer), he went to the Fachhochschule Koeln to study business administration.

After his degree, he began working as financial controller for a concert promoter and worked with artists such as The Rolling Stones, Tina Turner, Michael Jackson, and Luciano Pavarotti.

He previously worked for the Koelnarena Management GmbH as director for the financial department, ticketing, and controlling, both during the pre-opening and the operating period; as a project manager for the planning and operating of leisure facility projects such as stadiums and arenas; as the event controller for the Rolling Stones tour in Europe and the World Youth Day in Germany; and as the MD of the operations company for the Commerzbank Arena – the leading event stadium in Germany that hosts an average of 30 to 40 major events and 1.3 to 1.5m spectators per year. The stadium hosted the FIFA Confederations Cup 2005, the FIFA World Cup 2006, and the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2011.

In June 2010, Patrik was awarded “executive of the year” at the Stadium Business Summit in Dublin.
