Sybil Franke has been MD of Velomax Berlin since 2017, running two arenas – Velodrom and Max-Schmeling-Halle in the German capital.

Born in 1975, Sybil graduated from university in Berlin in 1999 and has since then been working in the leisure business and live entertainment industry. She worked for a promoter first and then moved to the venue side in 2007. Since then, she has been “renewing“ the two arenas and has taken them to a new level of recognition in the Berlin market.

Sybil was also one of the first to focus on sustainable demands in venue operations in huge multifunctional arenas in Germany. She is active in many networks and bodies to preserve Berlin’s cultural landscape and stands for fair business and market development.
