Guillermo ‘Memo’ Parra

With a Major in economics, Memo Parra became an independent promoter in 1993 and remained on the indie side of the business until 1998. In February 1999, he joined Latin America’s leading promoter, OCESA, where two years later he was promoted to head of International events, while from 2006-2009 he led OCESA Presents in New York.

Now, as the head booker for OCESA, Memo has promoted more than 3,000 shows, including The Rolling Stones, U2, Madonna, Roger Waters, and Metallica, to name but a few.

Memo is also the founder and head of Corona Capital Festival in Mexico City and Guadalajara.
